TUITION PAYMENTS & DETAILS

We require a Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit equal to one (1) month of tuition at registration and payment of the first month before your student starts. The deposit includes registration and material fees.

Tuition Payments

Tuition payments are due every month, beginning on June 15
(12-month plan) or July 1st or 15th (11-month plan), with the last payment due May 15. Late payment fees are applied after five days. Exclusion from school for non-payment of tuition and extended care fees takes effect on the sixth day after the due date.

Tuition Payment Plans

Tuition can be paid in full, on a 12-month plan, or on an 11-month plan. Families choose their payment plan when they sign the financial agreement. A $40 fee will be applied to plans that change after registration.

Tuition and extended care payments take effect on the sixth day after the due date. They are paid only through the FACTS financial management system. Please note that we include a $40 FACTS registration fee.

School Support

Because tuition does not cover the full cost of education at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School, families must fulfill a service requirement throughout the year. This service provides opportunities to build community and create a special learning environment within a caring community. Families must earn 20 service hours by the end of the school year. Examples of these opportunities are in the school handbook.

Financial Support

Families in need of financial assistance are encouraged to apply through FACTS. The first step to applying for financial aid is to complete the FACTS website.

STA's scholarship committee meets monthly to review aid applications and award need-based scholarships. The committee does not see applicants' names when determining awards. Families are emailed about any possible award and must submit the scholarship acceptance letter by the listed deadline. Families applying for financial aid are encouraged to apply early, as we award more scholarships during the spring and early summer.

Materials Fee for New Students

$415.00 (non-refundable) per student; due after acceptance for new students. The Materials Fee covers all textbooks, workbooks, classroom materials and supplies, student technology subscriptions and devices. A portion of the fee also covers Home and School Association funding.

Fees

Registration fee for new students (non-refundable) is $205.00 per student; it is due after acceptance for new students.
